Composed of six cottages and a central structure, Il Pellicano is more a cluster of villas than a traditional hotel, with 34 rooms, 5 junior suites, 10 deluxe suites and one suite with private pool immersed in a Mediterranean scrubland and surrounded with immense gardens of olive trees and cypress which were designed by one of the most  famous landscape architect in the world: Paolo Pejrone.

The central body of the hotel complex  offers a pleasant succession of Tuscan-style   corridors, vaulted ceilings, recesses and passages, where also the reception, the  bar, Il Pellicano restaurant, La Cantina wine cellar and the meeting room are located.

The hotel is in a perfect location to cater to the most diverse activities. For nearby shopping strolls Capalbio, Orbetello, Porto Ercole or Porto Santo Stefano are good choices, or for those who want to move further afield, day trips to Rome or Florence are another easy option.  Not to be missed is a visit to the islands of Giglio, Giannutri and the Tuscan archipelago or the magic Maremma countryside to admire the numerous Medieval villages. An equally interesting day can be spent looking round the stunning 17th  century Spanish fortresses which stand loftily on the Argentario headland, overlooking Feniglia beach, the town of Orbetello and its lagoon, and the WWF  natural reserve with its world-renowned famous for its pink flamingos.
