Equipped with a striking Meade RCX400 telescope, the observatory in the organic garden is the latest addition to Soneva Fushi’s unique guest experiences and offers magnificent views into the starry sky.

Diving. Our multi-lingual staff, speaking English, French, German, Italian and Japanese, and our small dive groups ensure that you get the best attention at all times. Whether you have always wanted to take that first breath underwater, learn to dive or are a certified scuba diver, we can cater to your needs.

We have over 30 dive sites to tempt you with and provide not only daily diving but also full day trips to sites a little further away.

Accommodation

Soneva Fushi offers just 65 accommodations, which capture the very essence of a luxurious castaway fantasy. The Jungle Reserve and the two Retreats offer the premier accommodation. Each villa opens to its very own stretch of white sand beach just a few steps away, whilst many also include Private Sea Water Swimming Pools. Each bathroom extends to a private garden, whilst utmost care is given to the environment. 2 bedroom villas plus the Jungle Reserve with 4 bedrooms are popular choices for the family.

Dining 

Soneva Fushi dining experiences are diverse and memorable – from gourmet menus across a variety of cultures and cuisines, to organic offerings, simple barbecues and romantic escapades – and all complimented by an extraordinary wine cellar and innovative bars.

Fresh in the Garden  - The Fresh in the Garden Restaurant is near Cinema Paradiso and the tennis court.  You will traverse organic fruit and herb gardens, and then climb broad winding stairs to a rope bridge that spans the banana plantation.  A panoramic westerly aspect over the gardens and surrounding jungle will afford spectacular views of the sunset.

The lunch is purely composed from our organic grown island produce, Maldivian seafood, fruit and vegetables. Alternatively try a cooking class with our chef in the vegetable garden, where you can enjoy learning about Asian cuisine, and cook your culinary creations using the fresh herbs and spices available at your fingertips. Since we like our classes to be spontaneous, we offer a glass of wine or two to make the cooking a little less stressful!

By the Beach – Soneva Fushi evolves again to bring something new to the table. Always looking to enhance the culinary experiences we are pleased to introduce a Peruvian and Japanese fusion culinary adventure. The menu draws heavily on classic Japanese food with South American influences.

The main inspiration was to focus on the amazing quality of the raw ingredients already abundant in the Maldives such as the local fish delivered daily to the jetty along with some of the organic produce from the garden. To ensure we got the authenticity correct we were pleased to be able to work with Toshiro Konishi, Japanese born who emigrated to Peru in 1975.  His restaurant in Lima has for many years attracted positive reviews and acclaim as one of the best Sushi restaurants in the world.

Six Senses Spa

Central to the Six Senses Spa is a large reflecting pond and waterwalls, setting the tone for soul therapy. A refreshing menu of holistic and traditional treatments conducted by highly skilled therapists using all-natural products compliments the Six Senses signature journeys in addition to Thai, Balinese and doctor-assisted Ayurvedic and nutritional programmes. Private Spa Suites are an option with several villas.
