All of the rooms are individually decorated with antique furniture, Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 TV, BeoSound 8 iPod docking station and BeoCom 5 telephone.
The rooms (except one) also feature a fireplace with birch wood, a four poster bed with Geismar’s linen and mattress, and free wireless internet. The bathrooms are spacious with double sinks and feature luxury amenities. The art on the walls also merits your attention, as every piece has been hand-picked and hung with care. All of the rooms (except one) overlooks the the charming Tivoli Gardens.
The Herman Restaurant & Nimb Bar
Restaurant Herman’s menu is redolent with references to the traditional Danish cuisine: “Captain’s Stew”, “Burning Love”, and liver pâté – but here, the pâté is made of foie gras. At Herman, the classic Danish culinary traditions both inspire and integrate with the chef’s thoroughly international cuisine.
In March 2009, chef Thomas Herman and his staff were honoured with the greatest recognition a restaurant can hope for when they were awarded a star by the Michelin Guide. And in November 2009, Restaurant Herman was chosen Restaurant of the Year by the Danish Michelin equivalent, the “Gudme Raaschou Spiseguide”.
Nimb Bar welcomes you to our classic bar offering classic long and short drinks. The historic former ball room with its cut-glass chandeliers and pinewood flooring has been meticulously refurbished to offer a warm and welcoming lounge ambiance complete with soft seating and a log fire. The city’s most exclusive hotel bar also offers a wide range of champagnes and monthly champagne events.
