The World of Envy offers their clients something extraordinary
We have chosen the name The World of Envy to signal that we offer something different from traditional travel agencies and we are not just referring to the fact that we in addition to hotels offer villas and yachts – but that we are also offering a feeling and a lifestyle. Our service requires us to metaphorically step into our client’s world, and get to know them - this in order to be able to provide the very best travel planning possible.
Our clients are affluent and often move in a world that is the envy of many - and so are also their holidays and travelling. With our service we want to invite new clients to take part in this world – if only for one or two weeks a year!

We have deliberately chosen to target a niche in the market that consists of hard-to-please customers who both make demands on perfection and are prepared to leave their holiday planning to someone who does it better. It is a niche that is not particularly price-sensitive – but is geared/aimed toward a discerning clientele who want to be sure that they get the very best solution and who trusts us to get them the best price possible.
More often then not our clientele consist of returning customers who we help with all their travel requirements whether business or pleasure. We give all our clients a personal service suited to their needs – providing them with accommodation solutions for their holidays as well as for business trips. Simply described we act as an agent for the client – rather than the hotel. We take care of the selection of accommodation solutions based on the customers needs for a specific trip.
Our service is based on a close and personal relationship with each and every customer. It requires us to “become a part their world and everyday lives” – to get to know their needs, wishes, requirements and what they expect from us.
We plan on being the absolutely best at recommending accommodation solutions that fulfil each client’s requirements – no matter if that is a hotel, a villa or a yacht! This is also the reason why we in general don’t work with pre-packaged holidays – we take the word personal very seriously – and don’t want to risk the client’s personal requirements and wishes not being fulfilled. Our motto is that every client is unique and requires a custom-planned holiday.
We have chosen to specialise in travel planning with focus on accommodation solutions and this is why we don’t book transportation solutions for our clients. We know that there are others out there that provide this service, and do it far better then we can. And of course if our clients require help booking air-tickets, train-seats or other transportation – we will refer them to one of our partners.
Why are you the best?
We have built a business on our biggest interest – travelling! Together we have a large collective experience of travel and travel arrangements. We have all the right contacts and an extensive network between us – and we both know this market and the service we are selling. We know exactly what kind of service a demanding customer appreciates – and we never forget how important it is to get every little detail right, especially when the customers spend the amount of money that they actually do!
Sofia Nordlinder Background: France, Monaco, USA and Stockholm. She has long experience of working with International and high maintenance customers when it comes to their vacations from her years as a yacht broker. With her travel and client experience Sofia can often sense their requirements before they actually realise what they are themselves.
Thérèse Gleisner International background: London, Geneva, New York, Monaco and Stockholm. She has an MBA - Master of Business Administration specialising in “Finance and Luxury Goods”, as well as comprehensive experience from working in the luxury and lifestyle segment for many years with everything from client relations, business development to marketing and PR.
How would you describe the average The World of Envy client?
Our clients are best described as sophisticated and discerning travellers who appreciate design, good food and drink, culture, shopping and pampering themselves – simply the best that life can offer. They are frequent visitors to the world’s metropolises and the most exclusive destinations around the globe.
Our clients are the same customers that due to lack of time and for convenience use the services of an assistant, a nanny or a personal trainer. It is the kind of customer who makes the deliberate decision to leave the travel planning to someone with more experience and knowledge. Our typical client is often a family – parents in their 30-50s with two kids and maybe a nanny – or t is a more modern client from the older generation whom often keep themselves updated about new and evolved destinations – but who simply want to book the best and know we can get it for them. No matter which type of customer, they often have an entourage of people who travel with them or who want to book the same holiday as they have. The entourage can consist of either family or friends – and sometimes both. And we of course offer our service to anyone in this entourage who require it.
Our clients are affluent, and for them money is not an issue. More importantly they expect the very best there is and put great value in personal service and recommendations they can trust. By booking with us they feel reassured that their stay will be a special and memorable experience and that they will always get the best of the best.
Our partner-list consists of chosen hotels all over the world, selected villas, airline bookers, Concierge Masters (corporate bookings) and International Yacht collection for yacht charters - and more collaborations are in the pipeline.
How do you choose the properties that you offer?
Our selection of properties features only the highest star count. But as we all know – stars and style don’t always go hand in hand! We look for the unique, the different and the exceptional – those rare cases where luxury and good taste are actually successfully wed! Together with our associate consultants we verify all of our selected hotels, villas and yachts on a regular basis. Only the very best can be a part of our network and featured on our website. We cater to all and every taste and the network contains everything from hip urban hotels, to lavish palaces and resorts in far off places.
Our aim is to have personally visited the majority of the places we recommend, however we understand that this is not possible as the world is very big and the selection huge. Therefore we make use of personal reviews, verifications and insider recommendations from our extensive network of associates, industry professionals as well as from our trusted clientele.
We promise our clients complete discretion when it comes to their holidays and personal information. We build our service on mutual trust and are therefore unable to provide any client references without express permission from such a client. But we can of course provide reference cases where the clients stay anonymous.
What does the future hold?
Our aim is to grow at a slow pace by building an extensive and strong client base that come to us for all their travelling requirements whether being for business or pleasure. As we’ve pointed out we are not looking for volume but quality and the right type of bookings for our service. We will be the best at what we do and provide the level of service our clients expect.
We plan to grow through collaborations and partnerships. But it is essential that we never stray from the core of our business – the personal service and focus on fulfilling every client’s specific requirements and wishes. Our personal contact with the client is very important and if we grow too much too quickly we will most likely lose the ability to provide our clients with this level of service.
